The Wren is a home decor brand built on the principles of mindful consumption and meaningful curation. Through global sourcing and deep relationships with artisans, they connect collectors to pieces that are rare, storied, and impossible to replicate. Each item carries the imprint of its maker reflecting skill, heritage, and a sense of place that can’t be found anywhere else.
Beyond the objects themselves, The Wren is committed to protecting the stories that risk being forgotten. They champion traditional techniques, support artisan communities, and encourage a slower, more thoughtful way of living.
Our approach was grounded in clarity and restraint, shaping a brand experience that feels as intentional as the pieces themselves. Strategy, storytelling, and design worked together to create something quietly distinctive and built to resonate with those who value depth over noise, with founder Lori Bate’s editorial eye and lived experience at the core.
OUR STRATEGIC APPROACH
We spent time listening, interviewing artisans, immersing ourselves in their process, and learning the stories behind their craft. These narratives became our focal point. By bringing these makers to the forefront of our brand story, we helped The Wren build so much more than a retail presence. It became a platform for connection, intention, and quiet advocacy.
Inspired by Lori Bate’s distinct perspective shaped by her work in architecture and fashion design, we crafted a brand identity that feels both elevated and deeply personal. Guided by texture, tone, and tradition, every detail was considered: from the sculptural elegance of the logo to the nuanced typography and rich, earthy palette. The brand speaks with quiet confidence—warm, thoughtful, and connected—inviting people in without ever feeling out of reach. It’s luxury, lived-in. Timeless, yet entirely of the moment.
We designed a digital space that mirrors the pace and depth of The Wren’s world. Visitors can shop the curated collection or dive into artisan stories on The Nest, the brand’s online magazine. The experience blends commerce with narrative, inviting thoughtful exploration over urgency and creating space for community.
The packaging needed to feels like an extension of the pieces inside, simple, thoughtful, and meant to be cherished. Made with sustainable materials, each detail was considered to create a sense of anticipation, making every arrival from The Wren feel personal and worth savoring.
Our content strategy focused on capturing The Wren’s audience with honesty and care. Rather than staging moments, we documented the real ones—studio visits, found objects, and the details that bring each piece to life. Across platforms, the visuals feel lived-in and personal, designed to quietly invite people into the story.
